Sneaky link development with flickr. Here is the exact code if anyone wants it: <a href="http://www.destination.com"><img src="http://www.yourimage.com/image.gif" alt="keyword" title="keyword"></a> Code (markup):
That is sneaky. I looked for the two animated cats on Flickr and I guess they changed it to one cat - animated. It took me a while to find it and I was looking for it hard! I see where this worked on Flickr - and read the comments on your blog re: nofollow on flickr......., have you tried it anywhere else? You suggest that whitehat would be leaving the link on related posts/comments and black hat would be indiscriminately leaving it everywhere. Would it really be black hat, anymore than just leaving comments on any blog? I think the idea is an awesome one and apparently has contributed to 3.5 million backlinks for glitter graphics ! Intriquing, to say the least.
what are we basically doing here,, just making a link that's something simple and not obvious like an exclamation, picture, questionmark, smiley face or something?
