Developing links for a mini site

    alot of people devlop 1 page mini sites, I more of a fan of content mini sites
    which are sites that have only one purpose (ie sell 1 product, collect email address) but have 20 or so keyword optimized articles to help get the traffic from the search engines.

    But my question is: How do those 1 page mini sites get #1 rankings? For example Seoelite.com is #1 for many diffrent keywords and thats a one page salesletter?
    How do people do it? How do they convince people to link to a salesletter?

    Money, link exchanges, articles, interviews. Pretty standard stuff.

    i concur,
    LINKS LINKS LINKS :p backlinks all the way... link to high PR and high traffic sites, buy links, link exchange most important, you can try PR, feeds as well

    They might also be doing 3-way link exchanges if they own a bunch of other sites. For example, my site A links to your site B, your site B links to my one page sales website. If they have enough websites, they could get tons and tons of links to their page just from exchanges.

    I checked link:www.seoelite.com and the first couple of back links I looked at sure seemed like paid links to me.
