    Backlinks are the main issue to be considered while talking about PR. I personally think article writing is the finest and the cleanest way to increase the banklinks of your website thus raising the PR.

    Note: Backlinks must be relevant to your site in order to have a good impression on the search engines.

    Why do you need high PR? If you need traffic then it is not necessary to have high Pagerank.

    1) Write high quality content on your site.
    2) Advertising is the key, publicize your URL to everyone you communicate.
    3) Provide RSS
    4) Instead of typing URL, search ur site on google.
