Developers V non-techie-Traders

Recently I had a slightly unpleasant experience on DP.

I selected a site offered by a seller and agreed the price asked for the site.

However, I noticed that there were HTML errors on the site and requested that the said errors were corrected by the seller.

His reply to me was that I could get these sorted out my self as "That is how I got it Do you want it? If not back for sale again!".

I realise now, that he was only trading the site on and was not either able and/or willing to rectify the problems with the site.

Had I known that he was a trader and not the developer/creator of the site, I would have made my decision to buy or not to buy, in that light.

There is nothing wrong with simply trading a site on and I have purchased some great sites on DP that way.

However, I believe that it would enhance the already great reputation of DP, if the sellers could clearly declare if they are the creators/developers of the sites, or are trading the sites on.

This not only because of any problems found on the site at the time of the sale, but also, because of the possibility or not, of support from the seller in case it was needed at a later date.

Obviously, a "non techie" trader of sites would not be able to provide any support in case of problems with the site.
