Developed Religious Website For Sale...

I am selling my site http://www.religionsonline.info.

This is about 1.5 years old site. Site runs in ASP with MS SQL SERVER database. Administrator can manage all contents online through admin control panel (No coding requirements). About 5-6 months are remained for hosting fee paid. Google PR is 2. Site has much content in form of articals, introduction to major religions, complete text of some holy books and forum with about 2700 posts and 80 registered members.

Starting bid with $50. Payment will be through moneybookers.com or escrow.com.

 

I have received some PMs inquiring about traffic stats.

Since July 2006, site received about 80-120 unique per day. Thereafter, I was unable to give time to this site so traffic went down. At present it is running with about 400-500 unique per month (without spending any time to it).

There is newsletter mod for admins so reminder can be sent to members requesting them to revisit. I can hope that most of them will come back.

Why you trying to sell a dead site that does no more than offend multiple faiths.
Let it die! and give yourself a clear conscience .

 

Guests cannot posts. Religions is sensitive issue and no one wants to accept defeat. So people carryon replying. You can see on most post that threads have been discussed between two-three members.

 

The main purpose of this site is to create a place for interfaith dialog so that people can understand the beliefs and teachings of other religions. I was unable to give sufficient time to it and read every post on it so people have posted offensive posts. New owner can make his own policy for posts and then maintain that.

 

Auction will close in two days. So intrested people should bid. There is no bin. Highest bidder will get the site + domain.

I have had the opportunity to examine the site properly and conclude even though there are a few that are intolerant of other faiths the site does fullfil a purpose which on the whole i think can only be good.

I have not accepted your offer. When you asked for my mail address, I replied that there is higher offer so you should increase your bid.

I accept that previously I mentioned auction end time at 30th of October. To win the auction you must have highest bid by then. I started bid with $50 and the highest bid was also equal to that so site remained unsold.

We should be fair and open for deels at such forums.
