Just wondering what you would value itrustsnape.com at. Handful of loyal members in the forums, a sudden flood of discussion now that HPDH has been released. Adsense made on average $1.00 a day until about a week ago, when it jumped to $5-$10 (but my experience is that that influx will only last a couple of days). Been around for a little over a year, ~400 uniques daily (except for lately, where it's averaged ~3000). PR4. I love the site and I'm close to it, but now that the book is out I'm thinking of moving on to other things. Thanks!
When will the Harry Potter Series lose its following? Fortunately, book 6-7 have not been made into movies, yet and I'm not sure they that is going to happen. It might be worth mid (high) xxx-xxxx to a fanatic. IMO
harry potter series it is over, warnerbros has already signed for another fantasy stories rights to turn them into movies, etc.. so harry will slowly die.
I think you guys are underestimating the strength of the fandom. Something loved by millions of people - most of them young adults or adults now (those who have grown up with Harry) are not going to let the series 'die' so easily, especially with what is hailed as a disappointing seventh book. The amount of fanfiction and fanart that is about to spring up is going to be intense. I do think that my site is now dated though, as it focused on events which finally came to pass in the seventh! However it's absurd to say that the entire franchise is going to die so soon. HP books are classics - it's like saying that LOTR or Narnia have died. they haven't, just faded, but they are still immensely popular.
i would say $1000 or so. the rev isnt a strong point and that why i would say aorund there. also i havnt seen the stats.
Do you want to buy this site for this money? then do not overestimate it and say crap. For OP If you say that you were making around 1 dollar per day, in an usual day, when there was still books to be released, keep in mind that now, as the last book has already been released, you will get even less visitors. Of course maybe it won't die completely, but it will surely decrease. The great advantage of the hp books were the movies, when the movies are over, that s it.
