Developed a New System - Pushing it out next week!

I have been running on an old CMS that I developed over a year ago. While I have been able to grab some pretty good positions in the search engines, the system has become bloated, slow, and inefficient as more features where needed.

Recently I reprogrammed the entire thing with efficiency in mind. Unlike the first system, I am also taking more consideration to SEO as far as internal link structure, unique tags . . . etc, go.

I am a bit concerned that moving to a new server, and pushing out the new system might affect my rankings. The HTML is vastly different (nearly half as short), but the content will remain mostly the same.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how the publishing of the new system should be carried out successfully (as to not affect my rankings)?

    Thanks :)
