Dev-The-Web Open Directory - Immediate Approvals

Hi all,

I'd like to announce you my web directory:

It totally Free, you don't need to wait for approvals, because they're immediate. The admin works is only to delete obvious spams.

If you have some suggestion, I'll be very thankful to hear you opinion about my directory.

Well, actually sites will be reviewed, BUT after they're approval

My idea is little crazy: for a directory I use a forum (with many categories, sub-categories), submitting of site is just posting a new topic with the information you want about it (title, url, short info). If everything is ok, the post won't be deleted. Attribute rel='nofollow' is not added, so the URLs'll be indexed

Only one discomfort of all of that: to avoid bots' spam, to post a new topic, a registration is needed. I'm really sorry about that option, but in other my forum, I'd allow guess writing and some bot wrote more 1000 spam topics.

I like the way you set this up. It allows to put the link within the content, and that makes it look more natural. Another advantage is the opportunity to write long descriptions.

I might also mention that there is nothing to stop someone from putting more than one link in the same post, for example if someone wanted to create several deep links to the inner pages of their site, this would be easy to do, if you approve it.

you can add some more than one link in same post, even more:

if you've already added your site and after a while you add some additional functionality on it (for ex. forum), then you can come back and add reply to your post with link and some info for the new functionality, I want to add full freedom of the visitors

ahmershuja, to submit new site all you have to do is:

1) register HERE

2) login to the site and goto most suitable category (for ex. sites for chemistry) and add click on 'New Topic' (it's visible only for registered users), describe your site and post it.

if that's not working for your please, send me the link which not works or more details. I've done many tests before start the site, Also, there're already submitted site, so it seems to work

Thanks, that's my purpose: I was very angry to see some directory where you have to wait 3-6 months for free approval also to pay for fast approval, so I'm trying to change all of that

 

This is a really good opportunity to get deep links. Just post a short article about your site and include the links within the article.
