    Heya,

    http://www.sitetoolcenter.com/website-tools-and-tutorials/link-price-calculator.php

Please could you guys check out this link price calculator for me? It's still under development and I've only just started trying to create an algorism. It's not very good at all yet but still feedback would be great. :)

There's an upper limit at 6,000.

Also PR and presence in DMOZ is currently not taken into account - I'll add that into the calculation later.

Please state what your link was worth according to this tool and how much you think it should be worth. If you have that page under TLA it'd also be great if you could tell me what they valued the link to be worth :)

    Thanks,

    Hodge

Not sure what are the factors you are considering but are you checking the number of links on the page? Don't think so. Also since you don't take PR into account, you will also need to check the placement of the link.

What do you mean a traffic form? Do you mean I need to take Alexa rankings into account or something because if so the script does take it into account (to a certain degree).

How would I go about checking the placement of the link on the page?

Also these are the factors the script currently considers:

    • Alexa Rank
    • Backlinks in Google, MSN and Yahoo

I am now working on adding the following factors into the calculation as well:

    • PR
    • Outbound Links
    • DMOZ Presence

    Thanks,

    Hodge

Position of the link could be an input from the user... similar to Adsense hot spots.
