Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a particular domain that is for sale. It consists of two keywords. I think it has potential. When I use google webmaster tools, I see those two words together at 900 global monthly searches. This seems low to me but I have no point of reference. Also the competition graph is pretty high. A related search has 27k searches a month so I think this one has potential. How do you figure out if a domain would be good based on these type of statistics? Thanks

900 searches a month is not a lot.

Double check the search volume on keywordspy.com

you have to choose keywords with high search volume and low competition. do more keyword research to get the keywords for which you can target your site.
