Determining the source and value of adsense clicks

I just recently started running adsense on a few of my sites, so I'm a relative noob. My first day, I got quite a few clicks, (~30), but it totaled under $2). The next morning, I had one click worth roughly $2.60. My question is this: is there way to tell what keyword was triggered that caused such a valuable ad, and is are there any ways to optimize the site around more valuable keywords?

    Thanks

You can track the click by using channels and may be decide the page

There is no direct way to find out which ad paid the $2.60. Otherwise publishers would probably do something, which they are not suppose to do: Optimize their site for the search engine instead of the human being. Also keep in mind: The clickprice for keywords varies depending on what advertizers bid and since localization might play a role in ad placement, there is a good chance, you'll never see the high paying ad yourself when viewing your website. The only way to get a remote idea of what keywords pay what would be to sign up for an Adwords account, but that will cost you $5 just to be able to see the bidding.
