Determining Actual Value and Ad Value For Directory

I have people wishing to purchase ads on my directory in the form of banners. My directory has a very good alexa rank of 25,699 and a pagerank of 3, with lots of uniques monthly.

That being the case, how do I determine site and ad value? I've tried posting in the appraisal section but no responses.

I need to determine actual site value, and what my ad prices should be so that they'll be fair but accurate in relation to my site's rank and linking power.

I don't really put much stock into what these say, but Tip Top Directory is currently valuable...I know probably not worth near $93k like this says...but you never know.

80% of your traffic is from countries that are of no interest to many. Might be valuable to some, but not to advertisers I know.

I think the add value will depend on the kind of visitors to your Directory. If you have a niche Directory that's all about vintage motorcycles or something like that then I would believe that you can charge more for ads because relevant ads are displayed to an audience that's already there because they are intersted in something on a specific topic.

I'm not the one buying, someone else is...

I feel like everyone else here is just trying to promote their own stuff or be a troll towards me. Webworth I don't take seriously, I was tossing it out because it grabs PR and alexa rank. This is why I never come to DP anymore, everyone is either using a bought account to promote their own crappy site, trolling, or just a plain jerk.

So by sharing an opinion I'm just a jerk? No biggie, just hinting that your Alexa rank is really skewed/lopsided and would not be a good metric for many advertisers I know. If a potential advertiser is interested then the two of you should come up with a figure that is satisfactory to both of you. That's the only ones that matter anyway.

I was more griping about the guy who tried to get me to join his ad network...lol...

Anyway, I know - but really I mean, if someone wants to buy ads, I will sure as heck sell them!
