Is there any site/service/software that can give me an estimate of how much of potential SE traffic am i currently getting ? I mean something like "with your website's niche it is possible to achieve 1000 visitors a day and you currently get only 700" or something like that ..
Hi The o ly way you could do this I think is to get a google account and add your website to Google analytics and webmaster tools. This will tell you how many people are visiting your website. It also shows you what keywords they used in search engines to find you. Then pop to www. adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and type the main keyword of your website into the tool. This will provide all the different keyword phrases people are typing into google and how many people a month are typing it in. You can then compare the results from the 3 tools above and you will see the potential your website could have and what it is achieving. Hope that makes sense Mike
I don't think there is any tool that will accurately show your search engine market share. As bunny2000 mentioned, you probably have to just compare actual traffic vs what the keyword research tools estimate.
