I'm not sure how hard this would be but I would like to know how to figure out someones location when they visit my site.
My site is going to be doing area-specific functions and I need to be able to determine where people are from.

I'm sure you could check their IP and trace it, but I just don't know how.
    Please help! Thanks!

I was actually hoping for a solution, not a link to a google search.
If I wanted to google search for hours, I could have done it myself.

There are at least a dozen solutions out there. If you're don't want to look at them and find one that works for you then you should hire someone and not come here looking for someone to do your work.

If your not going to be helpful, don't post.

You can learn a little and try to understand, then ask for help when you get stuck.
If you're not going to make an effort, pay.

The only information i've found is purchasing a program that costs near $600 to determine this information.
I'm sure there are simpler ways and I'm trying to find out what they are.
I have no problem paying for the actual code I just want to know if there is a simpler way.
