    i use a firefox plugin called colorzilla to match my colors to the screen one.. or a screen print and then the color picker of photoshop

    i do not use any tool and just lookup the color from CSS files

    ColorZilla will tell you the colours in a graphic. CSS can't do that. :)

    I've always taken a screenshot and identified a colour in photoshop in the past. Thanks for sharing the tool :)

    I use a free application called colorpix when on Windows. I haven't found an alternative as simple as that on Linux yet.

    If I was using Firefox I'd probably go with the colorzilla extension.

    If you have some type of photoshop, you can usually right click on an image and it will give you the html color code, it's really helpful when it comes to matching ads with your background.
