    Hi guys,

We've got a product called TrafficCake that I'd love your thoughts on. Both the service, and whether you'd use it. And if not, why not! :)

TrafficCake is a tool which detects whether online traffic is genuine and human, or automated bots and fraudulent.

    # Media Buying - We found from our own tests and experiences of clients that a large % of traffic sold is fraudulent. This can be anywhere from 20-30% with even reputable networks up to 100% when it comes to some of the fly-by-night traffic sellers selling dirt cheap traffic. Of course cheap traffic that's fraudulent - entirely bots - never converts, so it's actually the most expensive kind of traffic you can buy. TrafficCake works on all traffic buys - whether pops, banners, PPC etc.

    # Website Analysis - As well as working on media campaigns you can add an embed tag to your website and analyse all the sources of traffic to your site. You'll quickly see, by referrer, which sources are most prone to fraud, and the pages on your site they send them to.

..keen for product feedback as well. We analyse the first 10,000 visitors 100% free.. so you can see for yourself and give it a go!

So lots of feedback, and what extra features would be useful in helping you to analyse your traffic?

Can you post a list of traffic sellers who have decent converting traffic, based on your analysis?

TrafficCake is all about giving you the tools to analyse traffic. If TrafficCake started giving recommendations I think it would be open to accusations of conflict of interest. So by not doing so it can be impartial at all times!

In terms of best converting traffic - you will find that some sellers do tend to have better traffic but it will depend on the country you're buying traffic for, the vertical you're operating in as well as your own landing page! You can have the "best" traffic in the world but if your landing page sucks it will never convert!

    Hope that helps! :)

Thanks for the reply. As a total newbie to this site (though not the business), I probably shouldn't express an opinion, but it would be nice if the good traffic sellers were celebrated for their product and the bad ones were called out. I understand if you want to remain neutral in that.

I think longer term this will happen. Sellers that are found to send genuine traffic (and it converts! doesn't always go hand in hand!) will find their customers coming back time and time again, and their customers recommending them to others. Reputation is key!

Sellers who send fraudulent traffic - or traffic that doesn't convert (normally goes hand in hand this way round!) will find customers fleeing them and telling others to avoid!

Good luck - and if you'd like to know more about TrafficCake please just message me! :)
