First off, I'm new here on the forum. Visit the site regularly but never really took the time to register. Topic One I've a couple of domains under my belt. One being http://goodatmag.com. It was an idea with a friend of mine to create a site that we could promote regular people doing regular jobs in society that often go over looked. We wanted to do it locally and even possibly release a mini magazine locally that would have about three to four 'featured' profiles a month of people here in Arizona with small businesses. Within that magazine we'd allow adspace to help/hopefully pay for the print of the magazine in time. Of course like any business venture we kind of fell out of touch (still friends though) and the idea went no where. I've created a logo for the site/magazine and the one shown here is straight from the header of the site. Now known that I will be riding solo on this side project and with limited freedom (have a kid on the way) I am contemplating doing this same idea minus the mini magazine... online instead of locally. So my questions are as follows: Does this sound like something people would want to participate in? What Demographic should I shoot for? ***ideas were mainly people who run and maintain websites or online businesses*** With the way Google adSense is paying should I even consider adding ads to the site? ***their ads are ugly to me...*** These are just some questions that come off the top of my head at the moment. I'd really appreciate any input or ideas. I work 40hrs a week as a Fire Alarm Tech and when I get home I surf the web and feel inspired to do something... I get a good feeling with "Good@Mag" but I've hit some road bumps along the way. I can't continue to let this energy escape with out putting it into the proper medium. Much Thanks! -Rob
