Right, long story short.... I left my last hosts wrzhosts the other day as id had enough of constant downtime. I got a VPS out from someone here on DP and have had nothing but problems so far I should of waited till id found a better site, but instead rushed and now im paying the price. So far there was problems with losing all files, cpanel needing rebuilding, then there was a prob where there was no A records, something they told me to do but namecheap said it had to be done by hosts? Then finally, I cant install a wordpress blog on my own VPS because i dont have the required permissions! This was their reply to why i had a 500 internal server error: "Register_globals is off by default in PHP (and is removed entirely as of PHP 6.0) because it is a major security issue. The template should not need register_globals to be turned on, and if it does it probably means that it was not written well and could lead to your blog being compromised. I would recommend finding another template or hiring a competent programmer to take a look at the template and try to modify it so register_globals was not required." Guessing these are not problems i should be having? so i want a VPS thats ideally offshore, and whatever the best deal i can get for around $30 p/m thats not going to have problems with A records, installing wordpress etc etc Currently got 50gb disk space 800gb transfer 3 dedicated IPs 100mbps port WHM/Cpanel What can you offer?
