I don't know what I did, but now when I try to view my web site it comes up with this error message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/freea965/public_html/explorewebhosting/wp-content/themes/big-blue-01/header.php on line 18 Here is the 'header' file I edited in WordPress. I was using Big Blue theme by the way. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head profile="http://gmpg.org/xfn/11"> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="<?php bloginfo('html_type'); ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo('charset'); ?>" /> <title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> <?php if ( is_single() ) { ?> » Blog Archive <?php } ?> <?php wp_title(); ?></title> <meta name="generator" content="WordPress <?php bloginfo('version'); ?>" /> <!-- leave this for stats --> <link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_url'); ?>" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> RSS Feed" href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>" /> <link rel="pingback" href="<?php bloginfo('pingback_url'); ?>" /> <?php wp_head(); ?> </head> <body> <div id="wrap"> <div id="top"> <div id="header"> <h1 class="blogtitle"><a href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>/"><?php bloginfo('name'); </a></h1> <p class="desc"><?php bloginfo('description'); ?></p> </div> <div id="nav"> <ul class="nav"> <li><a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>">Home</a></li> <?php wp_list_pages('title_li='); ?> </ul> </div></div> <div id="main"> Please help me.
No, that's already there. Right? The one in bold. <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> RSS Feed" href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>" />
Hi, You need to change this: <h1 class="blogtitle"><a href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>/"><?php bloginfo('name'); </a></h1> PHP: to this: <h1 class="blogtitle"><a href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>"><?php bloginfo('name');?> </a></h1> PHP: Enjoy!
nope on line 18 (count 18 lines down) <h1 class="blogtitle"><a href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>/"><?php bloginfo('name'); </a></h1>
You were right. Thanks. Now I'm wondering, how do I make it so that adsense appears in the first post on the page? I want it to be part of the text, how would I do that? Ex: -------------------- |Adsense| ------------------------------ ------------------------------
I use adman, but it doesn't put the ads within the content. They end up going after it (Look on my site to see).
