I would really appreciate any help you could give me with my problem: I bought a domain name from BigRock and hosting from GoDaddy some months back but did not look into it till today. My site is available on blueinkgirl.biz but when I type in www. blueinkgirl. biz, Google says that it cannot find my site. So I contacted GoDaddy and they asked me to speak to BigRock because there was a problem in my DNS records (something about the domain name not pointing to the host). I have updated my domain name's IP address and I need to put in the CNAME records as well. But everytime I try to do so, I am being asked for a ''valid fqdn''. Basically, they are asking for three things: Host name, Value and TTL. I am not comfortable with all this at all and I am sorry if my post is long-winded (I wanted to cover everything). I have barely managed to put up my site with Wordpress and I have been trying to get it up and running since morning. Could anyone help me with updating the CNAME records? Thanks!
Simply ask your hosting provider to set the cname in your server's dns zone. They should be able to help you out.
