My website - www.pleaselowermypayment.org looks absolutely fine in FireFox. It doesn't however look good in IE, it's all over the walls and everything I've tried will not work. The css sheet is www.pleaselowermypayment.org/default.css - pleasepleaseplease help! Thanks
Start by getting rid of the absolute positioning calls as they are unneeded. Then keep in mind the box model factor. IE assumes margins are added to stated widths and FF includes them. Or did I say that backwards? Also padding is handled very differently by the two. The TRouBLe (top, right, bottom, left) should always be spelled out. Padding 25px will get you 25px all around in IE. BTW, you are right. It is very broken in IE7. I will try to help if no one better comes along.
Thanks so much! All that you just said is kind of garbled to me, but I will try my best to do what you instructed. Thank you!
How do I spell the padding out, it's 0px 0px 0px 0px (example) right now, is there a specific way to spell it?
0px 0px 0px 0px (top, right, bottom, left) The TRouBLe theory to help you remember it. Note the cap letters.
