So my site Favorite Part.com has really taken off in the past couple of days. My AdSens CTR is SOOOOO low. I would say, but it's against the TOS to post that. I am willing to PayPal anybody $29.99 who has a tasteful ad placement idea that can get my AdSense CTR to 1%. Please post the ideas here.

On the same note, if somebody has a tasteful small Azoogle or CJ ad idea that will get 1% ads I will PayPal him/her another $29.99.

You can net yourself an easy ~$60 just by knowing what you are talking about.

Your ads are not relevant to the topic ( laser eye surgery ? ). Try to write some topic related keywords may boost your ads relevancy.

Wow I love your site. I like the idea. Great job but you need to provide a better layout, etc. Try splitting the pages down to like sports celebs, actors, actresses, cars, etc.. and have users navigate to their favorite categories. And in one of the comments a user entered, it said "I'd click that!", that should be a nice slogan for your site.

Check out the changes. I haven't broken things down TOO much. Also the URLs are different, but the old ones will still work.

I redesigned and we will see. I just changed the site so it will take a couple of days to get an accurate CTR. Any suggestions with that in mind are greatly appreciated.

    The results still stink.

I just did yet another overhaul and think I have the design pretty close to what I want other than adequate placement. I would ideally like 2-5% ctr. My only sites that have that aren't very good sites.

help desk from what i can tell you have either public service ads, or image ads showing. Maybe you need some more text on the page to help target your ads to something your audience wants to click on more? It looks like google isn't sure what your page is about. You can also try hidden text if you don't want your audience to see it.

    1. You absolutely should not use hidden text. Google considers it spam and your site will be banned.

    2. By adding a couple rss news feeds on celebrities, you can get the extra text you need to bring better ads. (if you want to see an example you can PM me)

    Here's a few.

    a) Add a help section or a block that tells what the site is about, and be sure to use good keywords.

    b) Add alt texts to your image. <img src=link alt="text">

    c) I see you still need categories. Enable tagging of images for organization into sections.
