This topic has been brought up many times, but I'll say I generally prefer a desktop. I wish I had both though, because I'm always thinking "Man, I wish I had a laptop."

Laptop is better than desktop, because we can use it on any place, any time.....but if we losses it or if it fall from our hands we would be in trouble..so care must be taken.....

I never had laptop, but I've heard that they are easier to break down, so I'm not really sure.

It depend on the nature of work. If your work involve travelling then Laptop is your choice. Otherwise Desktop PC can serve well in low price.

I think laptop is best, because i use a laptop, Laptop is the best it is small in size and portable, so i can use it anywhere I want and, desktop don't have these properties. so i vote for laptop.

I love having my laptop when out of town with work; but as soon as I get home I barely touch it. Best to get both, a cheap netbook doesn't cost much anyway.

    Desktop hands down.

You get so much more power in the machine for your money.

It all depends on your preference and situation. I have had a sick tablet PC (laptop) that I was able to do some awesome stuff with. Although it was packed with power it still lacked for certain things I wanted.. Editing photos in photoshop and multitalking was impossible. Now I have a quad core, 4 gig pc with all the trimmings.. I cant move it anywhere and that sucks.. 750watts of power... sucks.. So you always have to balance out needs to see what will work for you.

Definately my Laptop. I can take it anywhere with me and don't have to just sit in a certain area of the house like I do with the desktop. I just use the laptop so much. I seem to have to constantly charge it
