1. The keyboard just takes some getting used to. sometimes it can be faster that a normal keyboard. 2. Agreed. Battery life is a problem for most laptops.. but its what you get for portability. 3. Costly? some are over priced but you can find some pretty good deal if you look. 4. The Trackpad on laptops are very annoying but like the keyboard. it takes sometime getting use to.
Laptop. Portability, size, and I work faster on it now that I'm used to the layout. And I don't think it's costly. I paid around $500 for my laptop. I dunno if you can find a good full desktop set up for $500.
I feel Desktop is more convenient to work then laptop if you are working long hours like in office (at least for programmers like me)....
i feel a bit uneasy working with laptop at home. I love desktop for all my work. The only time i use laptop is 1. When there is powercut. 2. In travel Many people think working on laptop is a showoff but in reality working in desktop the best experience i had and i love it. and laptops suck when playing heavy games.
Laptop is good for me as i don't stay at one place usually but when i am at home i prefer using desktop only as i got most of my work stuff on desktop
Laptop can be carried anywhere easily and repairing is also easy as you can take it to the shop. But PC the repairman has to come to your home and become costly.
If you into gaming and designing, you should get a laptop with at least 15" inch screen. Smaller than that will make your eyes tired quickly. I do all my stuff either for work or leisure on my laptop because of it portability where I can seat anywhere around my house if I want. - Dynashox -
depends on if you travel alot...if you can afford it then keep your desktop and get a laptop otherwise stick with the desktop
Well for me it Desktop , yes i knoq that laptop has more pleasures but desktop is more worth for working on internet
Well, Desktop if you have to use it only at home. And Laptop if you keep moving from one place to another ! Laptops nowadays are really cool to use.
Desktop = Performance and Power Laptop = Portability and Comfort In terms of performance a desktop will always outclass a laptop
Well laptop provides the privilege of working from anywhere, if you are always on the move, if not then the desktops are better. I am using desktop, and its far better than compared to the laptops. Thanks.
