desktop blogging tools and firewall problems ?

    Hi,

    I am trying to use desktop blogging tools like Qumana and w.blogger but none of them is working. can me being under a firewall(only port 8080 is open) is the problem ? can you people suggest any other tool which can really ease blogging

    I use ecto through a firewall without any problems. I couldn't use qumana or w.bloggar on my network though.
