The main trouble when designing a page is placing images, texts etc.

I find Layers in Dreamweaver the easiest method. I don't know CSS. Is there any harm in using layers. ?

How to use Div's to place texts, images ? I generally work in designing mode.

 

For example i want to place a image at co-ordinate X:- 25 Y:- 20

This perfection can only be achieved with either CSS or Layers. Its not possible to place text, images anywhere u like in case of Div or tables.

 

Know how to code mode is essential, not just in designing mode, or else there will be no increase.

 

Also in case of layers the preview is always different in Firefox and IE.

 

If that will be the case, you may consider learning how to code. It's really fun to be able to design a site.

 

Its not possible to place text, images and tables anywhere like in case of layers with CSS code ?

If yes then please give the CSS code to place a table anywhere in the web page.
