Monitor size is not going to help you here... it's screen resolution size that you want... Average screen resolutions are 1024x768 and 1200x800...... Regardless your images are 1258 pixels wide.... Chop those down to around 1000 if you want to remove the side scroll for about 98% of your audience in all... ( yes a few still use 800x600 - you'd be surprised... )
