designing for differnt monitors that have differnt contrast/brightness settings

    Any idea on designing for differnt monitors that have differnt contrast/brightness settings?

    For example, the colour #eeeeee appears as white (or isnt seen as all), on a monitor in my school.

    There's so many monitors that you shouldn't really worry about this problem!

    Just keep everything at a nice contrast to it's background; so that means no grey text on a white background for example.

    If you had text that is hard to read then Google may think you are hiding the text and punish your site so keep it all user friendly :eek:
