Ok I am trying to design a site for my little brother to use as his portfolio website for his animation work. I want him to be able to upload his work onto a webfolder on my ftp account but he has no idea how to use filezilla, and i dont know how to configure it to only allow him access to the certain files (www.hissite.com directory), so what are my other options? How can I make it so he can easily upload his files to the net so I can add them to his website sending them is not going to work because theyre too large for email.. thanks!
create a custom back-end control panel kind of page that allows him to upload and image along with all the descriptions etc for you to use. The image gets uploaded through the interface onto your server, so all you have to do is copy the link location and paste. y not create a wordpress or joomla site for him so he can manage the content himself? that would be another easy option
