Buying Designer/ Developer for an Online Gaming Site

    Hello! As the title says. I am looking for a designer or developer to do an online gaming site. Something like:

    http://portal.e-games.com.ph/

    http://www.levelupgames.ph/main/

    My client's company will be launching an online games hosted in the website with registration of users and can buy items for the game. Complete with the different method of online payment like paypal, credit cards and thru mobile texting reloading of points and items to upgrade the users account.

    How much do you charge for this kind of website we want to be develop?

    How much is your client's budget for this? I'm pretty sure it would cost $1,000 up for this kind of project. Have you tried going to freelancers.com?

    $1,000 won't cut it hon.

    Try something like $5,000.

    This site's at least 150 hours of programming. Any reasonable PHP coder doesn't charge less than $20 - $25 an hour.

    That plus debugging puts it at over $3,500 for the coder itself.

    Add another $1,500 - $2,000 for the designer who will himself spend a few hours conceiving the website.

    If I were to take this project on, vegee - I'd want $5,500 for it. Turn around time - 2 months.
