Can parents plan the birth of their baby on particular day? For e.g the birth of baby on day like today i.e 1-11-11 ?

The planning of Nine months and seven days (pregnancy length) can work out?

The survey says only 9% of the babies are born on right time i.e nine months and seven days.

Why the parents want their baby's birth on special date like this? The baby would be having any special qualities? I could see only one good reason the birth of baby on special date, is the date of birth can be remember easily IMO these all should be natural, no calculation is required or needed.

It is heard on local radio that many parents wants their baby's birth today (on 1-11-11), and consulting the doctors for possibilities of premature birth of baby, is that right attitude on parents part?

I don't think if a baby is born on any specific date that he/she will have some special qualities. Dates are just dates, nothing else.

 

There is no need to plan it in advance. If the fetus is fully grown and healthy, you can go in for cesarean section and have your baby out on an auspicious day. But I don't believe in such sentiments...

I don't think so, it can not be possible.

 

I think, it's a luck to birth a baby on this date and I am sure that many babies would be born in the world on this date. But no one can predict the right date of the birth of a baby. Doctors can calculate the time and assume you a date, but they are not still sure that it would be the final date. The date of the baby may be up and down.

Another thing, this attitude of the parents is not right, I think just efforts can be done, but everything depends on the right time, luck and finally on God.

It sounds like something that celebrities would do to go with their puggles and personal lines of baby clothing.

 

With the technical advancements, it is possible for the parents to decide the gender of the baby and fix a specific date for delivery.

 

First there is no hard and fast rule of giving birth to babies at a particular date. Yes it can be possible in modern days technology, but it could be more harmful to the baby's or the mother's health. As per your date mentioned, I guess its the most unlucky date as per the chinese calendars
