    Hello,

I would like your opinion about designing websites using Xsitepro 2. Before I pop 200$ for the software, I am seeking your expert opinion on the functions of the software.

    Is is worth 200$?

    Thanks

I just registered here and decided to search for XSite Pro and this is the first post I have found so far. I know your question is already a couple months old but I am posting this answer for others that will come here in future using the search function. Here's my take on the software:

First, I tried version 1.5 and it was OK but rough and seemed to be missing some features...found out there was in fact an upgrade to version 2 and all I can say is wow! It's not for everybody, but first some background on my experience with web design software. I started coding websites by hand using notepad after I read an article in a computer magazine, that was before the days of Netscape and Internet Explorer. I've used Dreamweaver extensively, hate frontpage, have tried all those fancy CMS's such as joomla and drupal but I really liked Etomite CMS there for a long time.

At present, like most folks I was using WordPress and still do on 2 of my main sites but that's where XSite Pro comes in. I was looking for some WYSIWYG HTML editors and kept coming up with the same results, Komposer seemed to be the only real choice but it had some issues that really bothered me. As I was looking for some fixes I stumbled upon XSite Pro by luck and am just about to finish building my first site with it this week-end.

I have a DVD that has been selling well since 2005 and now I am converting it to instant download video and need a sales page and Clickbank...you know the usual suspects to start selling and like I said was having problems with Komposer doing what I needed it to do and discovered XSite. I don't read manuals, I am the try and fail type of person and only go to the manual when stuck. Not for XSite Pro, no way, there are three manuals...

    -Tutorial
    -Manual
    -Reference guide

I actually read the first two manuals before even starting my site which is just not like me..that's how powerful this software is. Notice I haven't given you any selling features or why you should buy it...I'll let you decide after you read their sales page. What I am saying is that yes, it does what they claim it does and if you are in need of software to keep track of the tons of projects / websites you have going on then this might be the software for you. At the time of this writing, I need to keep track of about 25 sites and adding more monthly so XSite Pro will do that for me and more. Now, if you only have a couple sites it may be overkill, however if you know nothing about creating websites, WordPress may be a challenge where XSite Pro will be much easier to master as it concentrates on the building and takes care of all the coding, sorting, remembering, renaming, folding, ironing, dish washing for you.

Heck, I am not even an affiliate of this software...I wrote this review because I think more folks should be aware of this very unique type of WYSIWYG editor on steroids...and I wanted my first post in Digital Point to be a good resource for others. Hope this helps...

    Wow, what a review!
You need to get into their affiliate program. I was already 98% sold on XSitePro2 but now I am 110% sold and will purchase it today.
I am a total Newbie but have spent two months reading and researching everything that I could from designing and building the websites to SEO and Internet marketing.
I nearly purchased Site Build It but it wasn't quite right for me and I didn't want to take the time to Learn Dreamweaver or MS Expression Web, whick I am sure are excellent but too technical for me at this time.
A really outstanding book that I read was "Creating a Web Site" by Matthew MacDonald.
    It is extremely comprehensive.
