Hey Please have a look at my website http://ixibox.pw username: demo password: demo123 and suggest some nice design elements / colors / placement etc.
Dunno what ixibox is, but that FF and Chrome are both actively blocking it here means... well, if nobody else can get into it either it's unlikely you'll be getting much help. What I CAN see when it's asking for a signup is some stupid animated background wasting bandwidth, some scripttard login crap that doesn't seem to work, inaccessible font sizes and absolutely NOTHING to tell a first time visitor what the site is about, why they should care, much less why they should bother signing up.
The background of the login box is not scaling properly. Does the background really have to be yellow? Can't you make it white / light gray or dark gray, it's totally distracting like this.
Hi, I think it would be helpful if you'd describe what kind of website is this gonna be? ATM it looks like something similar to Pinterest but you have to suit the design for the topic of the website. Now it looks like a news portal to me. I agree about the yellow bg, you have to be very careful with solid bg colours because every colour has a psychologic meaning to them and can fira back at you if you don't use it carefully (eg. tiring your reader's unconscious resulting in them leaving your page). I would try something either neutral with some very very light pattern (canvas?) or a little bit of a more desaturated look. Also I'm thinking of the font of the red text you used - thinking it might look better if not bold?
