I redesigned my website today and I'm looking for opinions. http://juicedsportsblog.com One thing I am really wondering about is my background color. I fear it might be kind of ugly and I want to hear what other people think.
Hmmm... I've some points you might want to consider: -Post information after each post on main page is too space consuming. you might want to make it smaller... -The fluid design needs some work... I can scroll right only to see blank spaces. Resolution is 1280 x 1024.
Took a bit to load. At about 600kb with quite a few images it's no wonder. There needs to be some kind of spacer, or outline between the 3 columns, to me it looks clumped together.
I would have to say that your site is a bit too cluttered for my taste. I also think that the colors don't work out very well. The red and the blue do not go very well with the "off white" and the shade of purple. My recommendations: -Find a way to simplify the site. You might be able to remove some of the clutter on the left and right side. -Find a different color scheme. I would probably stick with the red and blue, but lighten them up a bit, and totally get rid of the background color and the purplish color. -Because of the clutter, the site seems a bit hard to navigate. I would look at trying to make the navigation a no-brainer.
-It looks kinda cluttered an out of order -The buttons on the top should center with the banner and the coloration of that area doesn’t match the rest of the site. As said, the BG color could help allot ^.^â€
Would agree with the points made so far (re. colour and clutter). As a new user looking at it for the first time, its kinda overwhelming!
I fixed it about a week ago and took out a lot of useless sidebar stuff. See what you think now. http://juicedsportsblog.com
