    Well that's the difference between Bitmap handlers and vector handlers. PS is a Bitmap handler. So ultimately resizing something from the outside, will distort your resolution to some extent, esp. if you increase the size.

    Although if you must have a vector in PSD I suppose there must be some way to import an .ai as vector paths and curves. Would be very difficult to work with in Photoshop, I imagine.
