    For my clients site: http://asweetlife.org/
    The top right advertisement and search bar on the nav is getting messed up because of the AD (I think).
    Can anyone tell me whats going on here and how I can fix it?

    THanks

    Firefox as well, looks great. Which browser are you using? Post a screenshot, too.

    he removed the div tag that was messing it up... i seen it yesterday but was in a rush so i couldn't really reply with anything... there was a small image between div tags that was running right through the menu and making the search box drop down below the menu

    You should place that advertisement image after the menu bar. and should set alignment for the advertisement image.

    the site was just about fine in ff, and in ie the "advertisement" image (not the banner) was dropping coz of its position in the html

    try doing this
    <div class="adpad">
    <div class="adwt">
    <!--Removed the following image because it was breaking layout -->

    <img src="http://asweetlife.org/sitefiles/wp-content/themes/ASweetLife/images/adwt.gif" />
    </div>
    <!-- begin ad tag (tile=1) -->
    .
    .
    .
    <!-- end ad tag -->
    </div>
    Code (markup):
    this works with ie6-on-wine/ubuntu, hopefully should work on ie/windows also
    cheers

    i assumed that when you could remove the image, you could alter its position too!!!

    the above code essentially, just alters the position of the div class="adwt" from beneath your "ad tag" to above it... that is all...
    nothing added nothing subtracted either.

    :)

    the above change does not alter the look of your website... it just alters the coding.. well, a bit of technical jargon is required to explain it to you now... the adwt div has a float right property assigned to it which keeps it right floated, while at the same time the sequence of it appearing in the code, is used by IE to determine its occurence, while rendering... the difference is what you willl see on your browser after you implement it... :)

    just out of curiosity, did you try it before replying??

    its a sincere request... please try to implement the suggestions before discarding the efforts here... or may be before forming an opinion :)
