    Site: http://www.freephpguide.com

I've recently put freephpguide together with a friend of mine. Unfortunately we don't know that many people that have the knowledge necessary to help us get our information / site in good order.

We just finished the "beginner" section of the site. And, before we continue building out site's content i would love to hear from some DP members on the format/feel of the site. Also, if you see that any technical aspect of the site is wrong PLEASE help a brother out.

Anyways, any and all feedback very much appreciated.

Minor things: Spelling on home page
    1. unroll (not sure what you mean with that word)
    2. Esstential!
    3. experiance

I would double check your entire site to correct typos.

    Concept:
Quality content is useful to others and over time you will develop backlinks as more people visit your site. An important question to ask is "What do you want from your traffic?" Do you want them to click on Adsense? Do you want them to purchase an in-depth tutorial? Do you want them to sign-up for an E-mail list with PHP tips every day (E-mails include affiliate product links).

Figure what you want then start focusing the site to get that result.

    Excellent position of link unit.
Good design, I would only think about changing the color for source code from light blue to something more darker since your background for source code is already light blue :), so it could be more readable.

Yeah, really need to check for typos again. Little bastards are hard to catch sometimes...(fixing them)

That's an awesome point. I think, for now we need to build up our traffic / content and during that time we will discover our direction as far as marketing goes as we go.

    Great ideas there though...

    edit:

The background for the source code should be yellow... is it coming up as yellow for you / anyone else ? (uh oh..)
