Hey everybody! I recently changed my site from a full Flash site to an HTML/CSS site. Now I am ready for your critique. I know it does not fit everyone's taste. This is my taste...I like sites that are clean. I also like doing all my own graphics for buttons and such. www.MologokoStudios.com Please let me know what you like about it and what you don't like about it. Plus, the information architecture of the home page?? What do you see first, second and third?? Thanks a lot, Iryna
Yes it is looking good. Your layout really fit for a design service provider website. In your recent project section, you have listed some projects as thumbnail images. I just click on "Dreaming Woman" image that you made for "FX Speed" to see a particular work. But this is linked to your main portfolio page. Which design tool is used to design that cartoon image? it's Nice. Good luck.
I'd say that looks pretty fantastic! If I were looking for that kind of service I'd think you were good just because of your site =]
Mind Blowing Site... Don't put internal css ... that's main thing.. and also validate your site W3C standard.. anyways site looks good..
not bad, you need to give users an ability to stop your front page rolling banner block with pagination. You may place pause button, than users will have some power over somewhat irritating content.
I like minimal designs! Yours is not absolute minimal, but it is kind of, so yeah i like it. Good work, Nice and clean.
Here is what I think - i'd remove banner - it is taking to much space and gives nothing in my opinion. there will be enouth of those thumbnail pictures. now about them - i'd change how they are hovered - now it looks scattered, maybe try some simple fast fade effect. that is it for now. And don't know if it is my internet connection, but website load time is very bad :/
well it is BEAUTIFUL! Exactly what I go for but never get in anyting I design. But 61 percent of all web design decision makers are female and you have no professional woman except in the background of one pic. So I would put a woman in there if I were you. It was the first thing I noticed. so I know you are too rich for my blood stil but when i make my first thousands , i have you bookmarked, i will come back and let you do the design of my empire. thanks michele
I just wanted to say that the design overall is extremely well thought out, it flows perfectly and i really personally like it. But the background image i think does not do you justice but can see why you had choosen this. Also if im going to be really picky i would infact improve some elements such as hover + active state elements on the main navigation. Possibly to have an image if not and is css only there needs to be another 5px or so top + bottom of the links. There should be in my view borders around elements to give them more destinction from one another such as border around light blue areas with a darker hue of the blue such as the get connected and were the white meets the light blue in the footer. The special offer button on the homepage should have a larger padding top and bottom and i feel be more prominent . The blog page / section needs a little work in my view. Its to cramped , looks really uninteresting compared to the rest of your site and needs a little more color. There should also be a hover state for the headings of blog posts ie hover over they change color or background or whatever you choose. The time stamps at top right of posts are extremely ugly and completely ruin the layout. I would in actual fact simply remove them or at least style them better without the grey background. My attention immediately goes to this area because of the grey background and it shouldnt. Everything else looks great as far as i can tell. Hope you appreciate my comments and take them on board thats what criticism and suggestions are for thanks.
