As someone who's run a classifieds site for 13 years, let me share some hard-earned advice: think twice before starting one.

- First, the market's oversaturated (been oversaturated for a long time) - nobody's waiting for another classifieds platform.
- Second, you're not ready for the relentless spam and the headache of managing it.
- Third, even giants like Craigslist aren't the kings they used to be. (It's been years since I even bothered posting on Craigslist).

And finally, pour your heart into something that'll truly spark joy and reward you - a classifieds won't. Trust me, I've been there.
