Descriptive Titles vs Keyword Titles

On my website, my homepage title is blended with keywords however, my inner pages are descriptive. For e.g:

    My homepage title is:
    Bill Gates - Keyword 1, Keyword 2, Keyword 3, Keyword 4

    My inner pages titles are:
Bill Gates - Profile of Bill Gates

I particulary like my idea but lets discuss if there are better ways. :)

It sounds like a good strategy. Just make sure that your titles are still enticing enough for people to want to click on your website in the search results.

Also make sure your titles are still fairly short. I think the recommended length is around 65 characters...correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe it gets cut off at or very close to 70 characters (according to the seomoz.org cheat sheet)

I work on ecommerce sites I put keywords along with an attention grabbing phrase. Short but sweet! eg) On Sale Now!

For adding keywords you are getting option of keyword meta tags, so just add your keywords there.

In title you have to do some brainstorm and make such title that is descriptive and as well as have all keywords.

For Example my site is providing web development, design and SEO services, so i will prefer such title like

<title> Get satisfied result for web site development, designing and in SEO services at affordable rates. </title>

Adding keywords in title is very good habit but do not place sense less title which have just keywords only. Meaningful title always attract visitors.
