I'm hoping this is the right spot for this thread... it's a domain question so what the heck... I'm getting ready to start work on a new website, a personal project for fellow webmasters. I'm not planning on making it into a huge commercial website so I'm not overly concerned about having "mass appeal" with design or name... but that doesn't mean I want it to be crap. I'm leaning towards the fun name but I'm not going to write off the generic name just yet. I have two domain names that I'm considering: 1. WebInfoZone.com 2. LatexChicken.com My dilema is this: To go with the nice descriptive name that has universal appeal, or the LatexChicken? I'm trying to figure out the brandability of each and the appeal to webmasters... is Number 2 interesting enough to actually get remembered? I'm just afraid that Number 1 is too generic. Thanks for any advice. Pete.
Although I think LatexChicken.com is a funny name, it doesn't sound like a name you would want to use for your project. Personally, I'd go with WebInfoZone.com.
LatexChicken every time for me! Easier to remember, easy to spell, brandable - gets my vote every single time. Damn funny too!
