Description Guidelines For Writing a Description

    Hello friends can any one tell what are the guidelines for making the bookmark description and how much keyword depth need in the description.

    As far as I know Google doesn`t put any value on meta tags now, so I don`t think it`ll help very much

    That is a great article juhasan, I was going to reply with some of that same information, although not nearly as complete

    Google doesn't take much stock in meta keywords, but they do take a huge stock in the meta description, that is what they use in the SERPs as the description for your site.

    Ultimately, as stated in the article linked to above, you are trying to get a searcher to click on your site in the SERP, so you need to write it as if you were writing an adwords ad.

    I heard the same thing about google. They used to put a lot of emphasis on meta tags but not anymore.

    Short and to the point.
    Keep it simple so SE pay more attention to the keywords.
    Of course you have to do a good KW research first.
