It has been sometime since the Kentucky Derby this yr, but still lingers in my mind. For those of you who bet horse racing (we were actually there) but superfectas are kinda a long shot, you pick the top 4 finishing horses in that order (if you don't box it) Which typically if you are betting $1 super's you don't do because it'd be $24 per bet to box, instead of the measily $1 But oddly enough my friend picked the top 4 horses in the WRONG ORDER, and didn't have it boxed on a $1 super. The payout (if you picked them in order, or boxed it for $24) $1 SPR (8/16/2/7) paid $278,503.20 Still lingers of what a hit that coulda been a nice profit, but in reality, no1 i know boxes super's because it gets too expensive. but the odds you pick the 4 correct horses, especially when one of them was 50-1 is a long shot
Just imagine if they had 10 cent superfectas for that race. You could've boxed 4 for $2.40 and got back $27,850!
