We'll it all started to better my SEO ranking, and in the end I got owned.

Started off, my links were watch-heroes.com/shows/s1/e*.html and I didn't feel that suited google search, so after talking to a friend I decided to /season-1/ep*.html and when I did this google crawled and found that all my old links weren't there (not found) so my site was deranked on googles index from page 1 and 2 ( getting 2 - 3k uniques a day ) to now a max of 200.

A week from being deranked index did I learn about 301 redirects, so I added them. Also in my struggle to get my ranks back I bought about 5 high ranked sites from Text-Link-Ads.

My traffic spiked once again the next day after i bought the ads, i looked and I was ranked again..

but that next day, it was gone again..

If you have any advise or suggestions please say them, as im in a very bad place. My revenue dropped dramatically.

    Thanks,
    Conrad

Happened with me too. Don't worry. Google's updating it's index like almost all the time ever since its tracking down (unholy) link exchanges.

Couple of my LEGIT websites that held top rankings for the whole of last year have just been dropped and nothing bad done on them :p

So I'm sure it would come up :)

I'd be most concerned about this:
Try doing a search for the text on your front page in quotes. Did you write everything yourself? Ensure that the content is unique and yours. (it looks like wikipedia has some similar content to your site) - might want to check that.

Whoever told you to do this:

Ask for the compensation. This guy must be the most horrible SEO guy.

Why on earth did u change a URL? You could have changed title of the page or keywords to see how they are doing. Since you changed url, google didnt find any backlinks to this new url so its obvious that your lost the ranking.

You should have got back to where you were.

Check if the old link is still available in google via site:

If its dropped then you can have trouble.

always never do bulk updates for any links or for that matter any major change. Just try going back to original links for 1-2 articles an see how it helps.
