I do, just depression and generalised anxiety ... I also run a website for people with depression ... its called BluePeople.com

please feel free to visit the site and Stumble or Digg it for me. I need new members!

    Cheers

I get to feeling down in the dumps sometimes, but never for prolonged periods of time. I think that that's one of the main signs that you are truely depressed, when it doesn't go away, right?

They say depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the body. Takeing multivitamins will help a lot.

Chemical imbalance is one cause of depression. But another cause is "wrong living", i.e. not being true to yourself as an individual and as a human being. For a wonderful discussion about this topic, read "Man for Himself" by Erich Fromm. I found this book very helpful.

I suffered from depression best things you can do is unless extremely needed stay away from pharmaceutical anti-depressants.

Take some pharmaceutical grade omega 3 oil.

Amino acids help to regulate neurotransmitters.

5-HTP and st johns wort are good also.

I had suffered from depression before during my collage years when my parents have to declare bankruptcy due to a failed business venture. But since then we have managed to bounce back and I got over my depression with the help from my friends :)
