Hello guys, Whats going on? I was wondering, who in here suffers or h as being a victim of depression or anxiety problems ( excessive stress)? I have a blog : Happy Mind - Happy Mood Where I give self help tools and advice on this issues as I was a past victim of these disorders and is terrible. What do you guys think I should add into this blog or what are your comments? Ed
I know of people who suffer from depression and have found great relief through spiritual help, particularly prayer. Perhaps an article from a Christian perspective can be helpful to sufferers too. BTW, I thought your ad placement was smart and not obtrusive. Nice blog, great topic too.
Took a long time for the blog to load on FF. By the way, you might want to be careful with your articles - they seem to be unoriginal, and you might want to cite the sources for them. (especially the article where someone left you a cease and desist comment.)
Everything looks alright, but I think you should change the description in your banner to white so it's easier to read.
Dunno looks like an MFA to me. There's next to no substance above the fold. If that's what you're going for then no problem. Otherwise I'd host it somewhere else and get that blue sky right up the top.
People are very responsive to colour choices - you seem to have picked 'cool' colours rather than 'warm' colours - and you might have a better site effect with those orange/yellow color schemes. I suggest also that the blog use smaller images to speed it up.
Dude those Google ads are all over. It's kinda annoying I must say...Putting too many ads won't bring you more clicks and might have a negative impression on the visitors. The blog itself is good thought. I myself suffered from manic depression for a long time and I know how difficult it can be. It basically ruins all your social life and may have devastating consequences (all the way to a suicide) unless seriously dealt with. Medical attention might or might not be necessary depending on the particular case. I might write you an article when I get some spare time. Good luck with your work. Rethink you ad placement once again. People might find ads that say things like "Feeling blue? Fight it now! Just purchase XXX to learn how!" very annoying, especially depressed (pissed-off) people...
hey good design dude.. but you evading away people with ads all over.. try to reduce the no of ads. its quality not quantity that is important
