Do they count international traffic or just specific countries?

 

Is depositfiles still paying? I have 12.oo earned and I want to request payout and it shows me a message saying that I need at least $10.oo to request it, but I have 12.oo!!!!

I get paid every week (just got paid again yesterday).
Recently I noticed they added some extra requirements for payout.

For example, I did not upload any files for a few weeks.
When I request payout, I got the message:
"The $10 minimum payout is only available for active webmasters. In order to become an active webmaster, you must upload a minimum of 10 files per month, each having been downloaded atleast 10 times each. You may still request payout as a non-active webmaster, but the minimum payout is $40"

My guess is that you are either not active enough, or not getting enough downloads for the files you uploaded. You will still get paid, but will have to wait longer until your earnings reach a certian point (I think you must reach $15 in your case).

By the way, I own a very small site with exclusive content. I split my files with part 1 on Hotfile, and part 2 on depositfiles. However, even though Depositfiles only counts once per IP, i make up to 6 times more money on Depositfiles. So in a sense, Depositfiles really is a Hotfile "killer" for smaller sites.

I rar like 600 albums with winrar then I use thier uploader program so I que all the albums then come back when its all done hit copy all then post all the links to a couple different forums and my site albumhunt.com

Just looked at hotfile they don't have a uploading program which sucks you have to que each file, and its limited to 400mb. Where depositfiles is 2gb files I love that.

i think hotfile is better than depositfiles, but deposit is very very old and trusted and well known

 

I still think that hf is better with their weekly payments and low payout

 

Both sites have their own advantages......For me DF works out pretty fine.

I use FTP for uploading to Hotfile, works find, can stack a whole bunch of files and walk away for the day... I haven't it a limit as to how much I can upload via FTP yet...

Fileserve is the best. Depositfile isn't the best... i left this host...

A week ago I requested a payment of 35$ and today i receive only 29$ and the others are on my deposit account that means that if I want to receive them I have to reach at least 10$ ( or 40$ )...

Depositfiles owe me money and everytime i click Payout nothing happens! please someone help me out with this because they owe me $70 + bucks now!

 

What would be interesting is how much your file on depositfiles generates in ad revenue to see just how much you should be getting
