Hi there! I've come up with a flash game and wish to deploy it on facebook. Problem is, I am not sure where to start! I've done some research and found out something about needing an external server to host my flash application but I'm still pretty much lost. So can anyone tell me what are the basic steps to deploying my flash application to facebook? It will be great if there's a good online guide as I cannot find any after doing my research. It all depends on how much interaction you want with Facebook. You can put the game on a web page and call that page into facebook as your canvas page, but that won't do much of anything for you. You're probably wanting the game to interact with the persons wall, i.e. post scores, etc.
Well if you have the flash source file use the FB swf tag and embed that. You will need to get hosting of course as well if you haven't already. Then you will need to pass vars through to your database if you wish facebook users to interact with it, like top score ect. There really isn't a guide, but the best place is to read up on the facebook platform and flash.
