dental hygienist rant

I had my teeth cleaned today and it was one of the worst experiences I've had so far. The person cleaning my teeth couldn't stop talking and it was distracting her from concentrating on what she was doing. I take good care of my teeth and floss 3 times a day and they don't bleed when I floss them. This hygienist gets in there with her metal scraper and pokes my gums cause she's not hardly looking at what she's doing. Then, she get's the scraper stuck between my teeth and pracically pulls my teeth out. Ack. I wish I could tell her to close her mouth and focus on what's she's doing, but I don't have the guts to do that. If you're a hygenist and you're reading this, please don't do this to someone else. Please pay attention to what your doing and don't make me talk and better yet, don't talk yourself. ugh.

My dentist has lost his hygenist of long standing and replacement is rough rough rough. I am considering trying to get in with someone else.

I will never trust a dentist again after being told I needed root canal treatment then losing the tooth a few weeks later. No repairs was going to fix that tooth :D I'm just glad it was a wisdom tooth.
