Density question

I have a keyword density question. For long-tailed keywords or keyword phrases, should they be done the same way as one-word keywords?

Like if I have a 500 word article and want a density of 5% for the keyword "paper towels are very soft," should the entire phrase be in there 25 times or 5 times (since there are 5 words in the phrase.)

This may sound stupid, but at 25 times per article with 5 words per phrase, that is 125 words, or 25% of the total. That seems like an aweful lot to me.

    So, i'm just not sure.

    Can anyone help?

My advice to you: don't obsess over keyword density. There are much more important ranking factors than keyword density. You are not going to get rankings based on keyword density alone. I personally never check my keyword density. Just write readable content for your visitors and you should be fine. I think it would be a bad idea to repeat a 5 word phrase 5 times on a page.

Exactly, write it human eye friendly, not search engines friendly. If everything in your articles make sense, you will be ranked high. So, do not worry about keyword density.
